Reps keep quitting. Before you blame them, check these four things in how you set them up.
A new rep starts. A few weeks later, the rep is gone. You hire another one. The same thing happens again.
- Your problem: Reps leave, and hiring and training new ones costs time and money.
- What JG does: JG helps you fix the setup: the first week, the leads, the pay rules, and the weekly check.
- What you get: New reps who know what to do, and a team that stays longer.
Four things to check
- The first week. Did the rep know what to do each day? Or did they just follow someone around?
- The leads. Did the rep get good leads? Did anyone own each lead? Or did leads get lost?
- The pay. Can the rep explain how they get paid? Can they check it themselves?
- The coaching. Did someone look at their numbers each week and help early?
Start this week
- Look at the last three reps who left.
- Write down what they had in common.
- Fix the biggest gap first.
How JG fixes this for your sales team
Rep turnover is costly, and a lot of it starts with how people are set up. JG builds the setup with you. JG will:
- Write the first-week plan and what a good week looks like.
- Give every lead an owner and a next step, so reps are not stuck with lost leads.
- Put pay rules in plain words that a rep can check.
- Set up a weekly number for each rep so problems show up early.
